TALLY Setup Guide

  • If you are an existing Tally user or are contemplating to buy Tally, setting up Tally in Expense On Demand is very simple and easy. This is explained step by step in the attached video “How do I setup Tally? ”.

  • Enable Tally from Accounting > Accounting Integration
  • Complete the steps to integrate/export reports to Tally
  • Setup is complete
  • Select Tally from Export Report template dropdown
  • Click on Download to get the XML file to be imported in Tally
  • Import the xml file in Tally

  • Exported Expenses can be viewed in Tally under “Expense Category Ledger”

  • Disable Tally from Accounting > Accounting Integration
